Mileage on a MPH speedo

Post by SurreyT25 »

I have bought an imported T25 Caravelle with a Kph speedo. I have a second hand Mph speedo to replace it. The only problem is that the new Mph speedo is reading 100,000 to many. Apart from putting it on a drill and running the speedo at 100Mph for 4 years to get the mileage correct is it possible to just change the mileage by taking it apart or does any know a company in the Surrey area that will do it?

Live with it.

Just keep the old speedo, make a note of the reading on the new one and declare it to any future buyers.

Keep the KPH speedo. It's not an MOT issue, and it'll sharpen your mental arithmetic skills.

(Rough and easy-to-remember)
50 = 30
65 = 40
80 = 50
100 = 60
115 = 70
