seat runners vw t25 panel van
hi everyone has anyone removed the seat runners on there vans is this a difficult job?what size spot weld drill bit should i use anything to look out for,cheers dave

When I removed the seat runers I didnt know about special drill bits so yes it was a bit tricky. Be cearfull not to drill though and make a hole in the expantion tanks under the seats in the wheel arch. We now have saab seats in the van they are brill and now the weather is getting chilly the fact that they are heated is realy fab.

Hi are the seat runners the ones attached to the bodywork for the front seats. Iam in desperate need of 4 of these as mine have been removed, any chance you know where i may find/source these.

The last reply is a great illustration of why the first post isn't a good idea. Best to fit around existing runners so that originals could be refitted later.

i am keeping my runners just in case i want to fit original seats back in. as to one of the other replys there was a set on ebay last week for £25.
