Help, original seat/ runners

Hi i am currently putting back together my 1980 Devon. I have sourced an original pair of front seats to put back in the van. The person before has cut off the runners attached to the bodywork these would sit into to fit a non original pair. Has anyone got any ideas of how to get over this for me as i desperately need to fit these.Cheers.

All you could try is to weld back in some runners from a breaker. As long as the orignal runners were removed by just drilling out the spot welds. This what the runners should look like looking forwards from the battery box.
