Headlight buzzer back feed?

Post by Cruz »

I've had a headlight buzzer fitted for a while. It's connected to the +ve on the ignition and the +ve on the heater control bulb.

When driving with the lights on the buzzer is making a slight noise and makes a slightly higher chirp when I put the indicators on.

is there any way to stop this apparent back feed?

Sounds like a bad connection. I fitted one of these in my car, using the fuse box. Jammed the wires beneath the end of the fuses and their slots. I did it this way to see if the buzzer worked, as it only took about a minute to fit. Then decided I may as well leave it there.

it's an early van so I assume it doesn't work. Plus I don't have a 99 relay either
