Got rid ov the water altogether. Dont see us ever needing it,just drink cider if were thirsty,i do have a cover for that vent but left it at thepaint shop. Yep all back to the original komet, stickers n all.

Very nice job, i have exactly the same model of Komet, same year and same condition (prior to repairs) was thinking of changing the colour altogether after new panels but thinking again after seeing your restored one, did you go to a sign makers for the decals ?

We thought the same, to change the colour, very glad we didnt.. Wanted to put him back to original as beat we can. The guy who painted him sorted out a sticker bloke. £300 fitted. He has done a stearling job with quality vinyl. I e-mailed autohomes and they still do sticker sets, but they are pricey and then you need a fella to stick em on, which looked tricky. Dont want em on wonky!!!!
