Where to get a vacuum unit VW Transporter 1987
Hi - Does anyone know where I can get a vacuum unit for a VW transporter 1987 petrol fuel injection 1.9? Our van is only ticking over and the mechanic thinks it is due to the air flow meter, which we think used to be called the vacuum unit? History is he didn't start, called AA they said it was the fuel pump, replaced fuel pump and then he ticked over, but nothing more. When the accelerator is applied he cuts out. Any info or advice appreciated

Hello and welcome to the forum
AFM's are expensive so maybe a wanted in the wanted forum would be another choice
but here's a new one from a trusted supplier of quality kit

I believe this is good for the 1.9 as well.. that is if you're sure it's a 1.9... as the injected 1.9 ceased in '85. Do you know the engine code of your engine?
maybe an introduction would be good, as you're new?
