Can you tumble 83 rear hatch lock

I've read that it's not possible to tumble the rear door lock - ie tailgate, anyone done it, is it sand story for ignition. Dan Simpson did an excellent job on my front and sliding doors and am now wondering about others. Thnx, Tim

yes they can all be done , but sometimes there is wear in the non replaceable bits

just means it can still need a little wobble even when rebuilt
