Final trial fit before we decided how to weld in place. I knew about the cheat spot welds, otherwise known as plug welding, but not sure about attaching the top of the new panel and whether or not it needs anything behind as it would be rather hard to get to. Jon.

Last job of the day was to grind back the spot and seam welds and treat with vactan. I will return later to red oxide and maybe throw some more vactan behind the scenes here. Jon.
