Re: Driveshaft flange oil seal - Part number
Cheers gents.
Does anyone want to volunteer to replace my shagged 04/1985 DG exhaust system (another task on my ever growing list of things to do).....?
The thought of the potential nightmare that is likely to unfold trying to remove a number of very rusty bolts doesn't exactly fill me with Xmas spirit.

Simon what was it you said about appreciating your Syncro? I've had mine approximately 1 week...I can already see she's gonna be high maintenance
Quick quiz....
1. Bentley says transmission holds 4.5L.......am i right in thinking that I need 3L to fill up after (1.5L remains in tranny after draining in situ )?
Just want to double check to prevent a potential catastrophy
2. Brickwerks advises 2 seals are necessary....anyone kow why? Ref Bentley 35.103

I'd buy 4 litres and just keep slowly pouring it in until it just overflows. I don't think a syncro will retain 1.5 litres on a drain down? Drain it when warmed up, of course
One seal per side?

One seal per side?
