Rev counter?

Post by serenitycamper »

Is it possible to fit a rev counter to a 1y engined t25? I need to know what revs I'm doing urgently as they sound silly high. If so how do I do it electrically?

Thanks

From the 'W' terminal on the alternator - if you have one. (you can take an a/c signal from one field coil before the diodes - details are out in t'internet if you haven't) There are also other methods such as optical pick up from a rotating black and white disc and ones that clamp on an injector pipe and pick up the sound of the pulse of diesel in it.
