Will stop getting grease on the knees of your jeans when leaning in to grab something.

I've seen them in the flesh and they are proper hefty! Should prevent sill-dings no problem as they are as wide as the wheel arch lip. Nice detail for the hi-lift jacking point too.
I'd still prefer galvanized but thet's just me
