Sliding door adjustment?

Post by big red bus »

HAve tried many times to adjust my sldier. fits well at the rear and in line with the body front top and bottom but in the middle of the door sits to far inn. Right by the handle needs adjusting out but cannot seem to get it any better than I have. Does any know where you adjust the door to get the door out by the handle. Thanks in advance.

I have a thread with detailed info on adjustment from our very own metalmickey. Do a search as it should pop up in results.

you say it aligns well at the rear? that is top and bottom , does the front line up nicely top and bottom?
if this is the case then either the door has too much curvature usual when its had a bottom repair also rest of van could have had work , so could you elaborate a little please, picky if poss

door lines up nice top middle and bottom at the rear. lines up top and bottom at the front.
has just had re-paint but no work needed on slider or body. no panel replacement or filler work was needed. fitted great before. will get pick up tomorrow in the light. thanks

ok,so door is perfect and aligned at the rear, but at the front you say its as it should be at the top and bottom, well does it then gradually bow out as you get near the middle and then gradualy go back in as you near the bottom
