No fuel???

2.0Ltr CU engine.

Have just changed the pushrod seals, the van has been up on ramps for 2-3 weeks while a few other jobs were completed, also changed the engine mountings which I had to lower the engine slightly.

All is back together but the van won't start, after checking the spark etc ( ok ) I found I had no fuel getting to the carbs, have put a bit of fuel down fuel line next to the carbs & it will start but soon cut out again once empty.

The tank was pretty empty when it went up on ramps, I have fueled up so I have a reading on the gauge put still not getting fuel.

Has it got air locked or something???? Help please

Have you checked the fuel filter just after the tank daz.You could well of sucked a load of crud up if your tank was low.

And you may well need many short doses of fuel down carb/s to get the engine going fast enough to pull the fuel along the entire length.

Is it still up on the ramps? If it is not level and is low on fuel then it will run to one side/end of the tank and not pick up. Either get it level or put another couple of gallons in.
