Looking for some feeback from anyone who has fitted a pair of Weber 34 ICTs to a 1980 T25, 2.0 CU Aircooled engine, replacing the standard Solex Carbs.
Some questions I would like comments on are:
Straight forward to fit?
Any issues with the standard distributor, in relation to vacuum lines?
Crank case breather - just stick a filter on it?
How to get enough cool air into the engine bay?
Servo vacuum takeoff - is there one?
Insurance impact?
MPG benefits?
Alternatives?
Sorry for the long list, but £400 for the kit is plenty to spend, and don't want any surprises!!
