Retro awning

Post by goodie »

We have recently bought a 1989 t25 and it came with a lovely retro awning. We have set it up and the van door width means we can't open it fully without fear of ripping the canvas. We really want to find a retro awning that is slightly wider (we think about 340cm wide would do) Does anyone know what make and model we should be looking for?

I've got a Royal Traveller 3 Drive Away Awning. Its the length of my 83 Hi Top, full zip out back, no hassels with the slide door. I don't know the age but its got the retro feel i guess!

Just a thought, couldn't you or someone you know increase the size of the connecting canvas area on the awning to fit your door channel :?: Or is the whole awning not tall/wide enough? If its similar to ones I've seen you'd only need to put in a vent or wedge shaped piece on each side at the corner/sides .... have a look at pointnorth.co.uk for the material.
Its on the road to Nowhere, no one passes by.
