Its a bit late, but we stayed at this campsite late in the summer, the week before Aug bank holiday.
I would like to say what a GREAT campsite! We had a lovely time and the site had clean loos, a brilliant shop and despite the time of year not too expensive. Very organised too.
It has a pub on site and a big playground for the kids. The only thing about that though, is that you would not want to be camped near it because of the noise. Good hook-up points and some very flat pitches,( hard to find in this bit of Dorset coast). The shop was very reasonably priced for essentials, some cheaper than Sains-esco-da! It was also full of useful camping equipment,(in case you needed or forgot something!), worth a visit for this alone. A games room and gym circuit in an adjacent barn was also there.
Its right near Weymouth, but not too near, easy to get to and easy to find. No beach nearby but lovely coastal walks behind the Fleet, and the end of Chessil beach. Easy to get to all local attractions and best of all Volkswagen camper friendly. There were at least 8 Bays and Wedges there over the week and we met some campers and talked T3!
Anyway, just wanted to share our experience and reccomend this place highly.
Its in Chickerell, nr Weymouth. "Eastfleet Farm"
Thumbs up for Eastfleet campsite in Dorset
