Respraying- colour?
I am having my van sprayed soon. It is currently sprayed white. I do however fancy having a different colour. My main problem is that I cannot afford a 'windows out' full respray (quoted £2500) so i am having the outside done. Does anyone on here have a different colour on the outside and another colour on the inside? Just like to gauge opinion before I make the big move.

Re: Respraying- colour?
I have Timor Beige (hearing aid colour) on the inside and toffee braun on the inside.
I'm fortunate, they work well together.

Cheers T
I have original white on the exposed metal areas inside, didnt know how it would look with contrasting colours. Maybe its ok if they work together.

Beige is a wonderful colour it lends itself to white, green, black and any colour in the brown spectrum.... from Parchment to Dark Chocolate

nothing wrong with what your planning, white is a good interior colour and will go with most externals, the secret is deciding where to tape of on the aperatures.

metal mickey
can you expand please on what you meant in your last message. Where do you suggest? I am thinking of orange on the outside should the white of the hi top start lower down maybe below the windows (around the door handle height) or above the guttering.

Re: Respraying- colour?
OOOO no , I wouldnt let the white of the hi top extend down any further than the gutters!,
I would not paint a hi top unless your going for a specific scheme, leave it white and a good clean . t cut etc will sort most of it out, lots of other reasons not to paint them, but thats more a technical issue than style.
If your going for orange then thats a nice combination , sort of period, do the outside in orange and at the front do the lip of ther doors, ( the 1/2" bit before the rubbers) and do the first part of the interior , by that I mean if you close your door and look at the gaps, you dont really want to see white so carry the orange inside to the firsrt up fold which should acheive this,
same principal applies to the tailgate opening , here UI would paint the recess up to the seal, leave the paintwork on the otherside (interior side) white.
slider, doesnt have a return edge as such so just paint the out side,
the recess treat the same as tailgate one.
you might think about doing the van in say orange and painting the area from the first fold 1/2" above the side windows down to the first fold below(1" ish) in white, either carry it round the back or finnish at the vents, I think gazf has his done simmilar but with different colours, looks real classy
