front door locating drain holes

Hi folks removed the old knackered vapour barrier yesterday on the front doors to use as a template for some new stuff before fitting my new door panels.

I woke up to a load of water on the wheel arch and in battery tray drivers side.

Obviously the vapour barrier is there for a good reason but there was a lot of water and i'm just trying to see where it is supposed to run out as i can't see any drain holes at the bottom of the door.

Any ideas?
