Devon side pop owners...

Post by aardvark101 »

All,

I need some advice, I need to change the gas struts on the roof and the ones I have seen come in sets of 4 - however my van has 1 at the front and 2 at the back Do you know where I can by the 3 set pack?

Cheers

Hi
mine is the same, and I searched every where for three but no one would sell just three unless I ordered them from a non camper type place like a motor factors or a ram specialist and that worked out at more than the four from the Campershop.

So i have a spare the good news is they went on ealiy enough and came within a couple of days.

Hi,

I replaced the struts on my Deveon early this year - only had 3 but bought the 4 pack. Have noticed after using THE van over the summer that the front single strut is starting to show signs of bending and when the roof is up the front sags slightly. Has anyone fitted the fourth strut at the front?

i have got 4 struts on mine. it shouldnt be too hard to fit another as all they are are studs with a big flat plate on the back and you would only be drilling fible glass with wood in it. suppose just copy the other end.
