Should i still add the lead from the little bottle each time i fill up. The one previous owner I bought her from showed me what to do, but then a garage said it shouldn't be necessary anymore?? Any advise, I tend to think you should stick to what she's been used to. I do get a little spluttering going up hills as well.

I've never heard of anyone using lead replacement in these vans, only in older Beetles etc.
I can't see why it would be an issue or there would be hundreds if not thousands having engine trouble.

These vans run on unleaded fuel (unless they are diesel
), no need to add anything else.

crickey these vans are heavy enough as it is - why would you wanna put lead in em!
