Dash clock (time) missing a connector??

Anyone got a dash clock that can tell me whats missing?

Picked up a time clock for an early van today and fitted it to the cluster but there seems to be something I am missing that goes on the circuit ribbon on the back.

It's where the red arrow is pointing to in the picture. When I squeeze the ribbon onto the tang the clock works. Obviously I can hold it all the time

What could it be though? I looked on ETOS and there appears to be something that could be around that area called a friction spring. Is that what is missing?

Hi Cruz,

it's a plastic tag thing with a metal inner that fits on there - I have a spare clock at home I think - I'll see if it's got it, but it's doubtful I'm afraid. I'm sure you could find something to hold it on there though - will have a think.... if I do find the plastic tag on the Clock though you can have that

The crimp connector worked and now the clock is merrily turning.

PS. The spring connectors were obsolete anyway
