Ok, we have a wiring diagram (well, two actually - diesel and petrol; I take it from your wiring colours that you have a petrol).
Thanks to 80-90 member 'Molly Man' who posted me some photocopies :ok

Top LHS shows the fridge switchwire (white/green) which goes to terminal 86 on relay A (W2 on your relay), 85 is the black to earth (W1 on yours). The brown from the 25A fuse in the diagram (15A in your picture) goes to 30 (C1 on yours) and the brown/violet leaves terminal 87 to the fridge (C2 on yours). This seems to tally up with your second picture.....

So are we saying that you have another white wire which you think comes from the switch on the dash because it looks like everything is where it should be :? The only terminal where connections are 'doubled up' is the connection at the base of the fuseblock where the brown link is joined to the brown/red from the mulitcore loom entering the battery box under the seat.

According to the other paperwork, both fuses should be 25A and there should also be another 25A in-line fuse in there; see bottom of page 13 and top of page 14 in my next post where I'll show all 'Molly Mans' photocopies...

Wow! Many thanks for this. I will print it off and go out to the van to see what's what and let you know.

My thanks too to the very kind friend of yours [Molly man] who supplied the diagrammes. :ok

Would it be a good idea to post these diagrammes into the WIKI so that other people can see exactly how everything should be wired?

Doug.

Hacksaw Bob has now put them in the Wiki.

How is it looking? Making sense?

Well, from following the diagramme, it showed me where the missing wire need to go and its working fine now. [ I had it back to front  ]

And, my water level gauge never worked, which it does now since I could trace the wiring and alter it to suit.[ It had been disconnected for some reason and the wiring diagramme helped me with that too]

I'm much obliged to you all for your help :ok
