Heater matrix ?

noticed a small line of water next to my gear lever today took a cover off behind the gear lever turned the heater on and waters dripping from the air blower vent is this the heater matrix up the spout ? Cheers jeff

Could be or it could be a washer jet, window seal letting in water when it rains
Does it smell of antifreeze or feel "oily"?

Dash out either way I'm afraid

Antifreeze kev im not having much luck with this van ! Do i need to replace the matrix , if so is it a pain ? To be honest i dont mind fixing things as it lets me get to know the van if you know what i mean

im not sure what i actually need to buy should i get the complete assembly ? it would be easier to get what i need before i take the dash out

I wouldn't buy anything until you have found the problem. It could be just a loose or perished hose.

I agree with Martin.
It is a rare thing that the matrix is holed.
Diagnose first, treat last
