Sink Tap
Having recently joined Club 80-90 I am making the most of adding topic to solve my ongoing problems with Chucky 1983 Westy US import! Can anyone help me with an issue to do with my sink tap? There is no longer any noise coming from my water pump when I turn on my tap! Does anyone know the fuse number or any common fault with these?

The most common reason for this is the switch mechanism under the tap is faulty in some way...
I'm going to quote advice from a late tap..I'm hoping the early type is similar (I'm not 100% sure)
Either the plunger that releases the microswitch is seized in the tap or the microswitch itself is fubared.
Remove the cutlery draw and manually operate the switch to determine whether it is faulty or the lever is just not moving with tap operation.
