hi everyone i have just bought a scorpion immobiliser and just wondered do you have to,apart from positive and earth and ignition do you have to use all the wires?cheers dave :ok

As an imobiliser it will have either 1 or 2 "cuts"
These are pairs of wires that do the imobilising.
You cut out a length wire that is part of an important circuit (the cut) and reconnect it using the imobiliser.
Usual circuits to cut are starter (from ignition switch) and fuel pump.
Without doing this it wont be an imobiliser !

With the greatest of respect.....surely you have instructions...and if you don't they will be available from Scorpions website.
Perhaps the most important bit of advice I would give is to pay particular attention to all connections, make sure they are 100% sound.
When we fitted Scorpions to Mercs at our dealership...we would solder all connections for the best possible reliability.

Martin is right. Its not a connection I'd want to rely on with say spade connectors. Can't help feeling that a hidden rocker switch does the same thing for a couple of quid.
