What do you think to a solar panel to help keep your battery topped up when 'wild camping'?

Too small - 40w minimum, ideally 80w and above. That size is ok to just keep the batteries in fine fettle whilst the van is not being used.

Where would you be putting that? Its rather larger than I hoped.

I have a tin top, so would fit the roof nicely.

Would a charge controller be needed or be useful, if so what size in amps would be required for a 60w or an 80w panel, I am thinking about getting solar power for the van myself, I would be interested to know

I have a high roof, are you planning on keeping your panels on there all the time..............are you gonna cover them up?
