Mine grew out of the van when they reached 12 :(

I have an 8 berth awning from Justkampers it is far too big but comes in handy at Festivals as they can bring friends.

Hi Pringster,
Firstly, welcome to club 80-90, also known as the madhouse.

The above offer sounds like a good idea, but you may find others in the classified section "Items for sale" or you could place an ad in the "wanted" section. People in this club are pretty friendly and will help out when they can.
How did your starter motor problem finish up? Was it a mucky connection or did you have to get a new starter motor?

Bob.

Hi there. You get a lot of mixed views on here about awnings (as you'd expect I guess). For what its worth we use a Khyam Motordome. Bought it second hand from someone on here and very pleased we are. One of the best bits about it is that one of us can put it up in about 15 minutes while the other gets on with other jobs. You can also get bedrooms which fit inside so would help address your space problem.

We only use it if we are away for a while - last night we were at Henrys on the Lizard and didn't bother.

I bought a frame tent to sleep three and made sure it had a side entrance
