Re: wind out awning
Go fiamma wind out..2.5 is a good length, 3m is poss but that is the whole length of the gutter, the 2.5 legs can fix it's legs to the van instead of the floor only. I had an ormnistor that was a cassette type but that was horrible to pull out!!! And I think that the bag types seem a bit half assed!!

in too deep to quit now....

Re: wind out awning
they look amazing, no denying that but they are out of my price range

Re: wind out awning
Like most 'cherry' accessories don't rush, bide your time and keep your eye out. I constantly surf the for sale ads here and on the brick yard as well as setting my regular ebay VW T25 searches to 'newly listed'.
I'm not currently looking for something at the moment but if a 'I would like eventually' item pops up at the right price I go for it.
I found my mint wind out awning on the yard for just £150 about 3 years ago. It was even within a decent distance for me to collect it and came with all the correct bracketry and winder handle
Just be patient

Must not have know what it was

It's all in the timing. Like a work collegue saying to me "I think my Dad has some twin round headlights he bought years ago but never fitted. He's had no van now for a few years. Do you want me to ask how much he wants for them?
"Yeah"
"I asked and he said they are twin RHD squares with a grill. He said how does £75 sound?"
"Ummmm.........I suppose so......a bit skint at the moment.....go on then"
