spare wheel cover bolt

Post by totallyconfused »

Hi,

Does anyone know what size and thread the bolt is that goes on the front of the spare wheel cover under the front of the van. Have tried a 12mm bolt which starts but then tightens as if it is the wrong thread. The original bolt appears to have dropped out. Is it an unusual thread?

Does anyone have one, or know where i can get one.

Many thanks.

Now this might be daft, but i tried a 12mm bolt (one from a motor parts place) and it wouldnt do up. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement bolt, or one that will do??

Mucho Gracias.
