Correct fuel additive for 2.1 inj petrol
New to t25 ownership, and as above I have a 2.1 petrol, and I note that only 'super' unleaded is recommended, which is fine if you can get it. sadly it's not sold readily in my area, so I'm having to consider a fuel additive/ octane booster. Can you recommend an additive suitable for this engine ?

Most get away with retarding the ignition timing from 10 degrees BTDC to 5 DBTDC. Of course you are effectively detuning slightly but nothing you would notice.

I would have to agree with Martin ... much easier and less trouble to do that

eh?
your Aircooled does not use 97 ron petrol
the 2.1 in question is the high compression 112 bhp DJ
