where to get slider door bearings and roller

i wanted to replace the bearings and roller on the sliding door mech but when i rang vw they wanted £33 for the roller and £29 each for the bearing

anyone know where else i could get these parts a bit cheaper lol

Which ones? On the bottom arm runner or the middle runner?

Strange as according to my vw etos they are no longer available

Brickwerks sell them

T3 late middle vertical £15.72

T3 late middle horizontal £1.92 (2 needed)

superb cheers they did say at vw they were coming from classic parts

interesting, VW TPS don't deal with Classicparts afaik, so is your local dealer doing it on their own initiative or have VW in the UK finally taken up my suggestion of 2 years ago ? I even got my branch manager to suggest it at regional management meeting and was told it was a no no

I've got a trade dicount and my vw and the parts guy even knows my voice and he's never suggest vw classic

our local dealer gets parts for us from classic

tps cant order anything from classic only the main dealer

I have discussed classic with my local dealer (he asked me about "some german website").

But as yet no offer to use them or even check with them when something is obsolete

The only stuff they get from germany is backorder stuff when there is no current UK stock

ours is very different can get anything we want aslong as classic does it they can get it

normally takes 1-2 weeks tho
