Yes and you can live without it cos next you will ask .... what courtesy light and what switch does it connect to :rofl
its the bit above it that is really important, it locates into a receptical in the B post, ...you have got a receptacle there havent you its shaped like the bit in my picky but obviously a female version, it locates the door and helps hold it in the closed position so to speak.

The securing bolt is obsolete but it's a oval head countersunk bolt M6x18
