Westy Water tank removal?

I have a LHD westy and want to remove the water tank to provide more storage. The tank can be seen through a shall access panel in a small cupboard next to the cooker unit, do I have to cut the base of the cupboard to remove the tank?

From what I can remember you have to take the whole cupboard out to remove it as it slides out from the open side of the cupboard(the side towards the outside of the van)

Then you will have to put an external tank underneath. Don't take so much junk with you - you can do without hair straighteners, high heel shoes etc. If I had a water tank inside I wouldn't look to putting it externally due to it freezing in the winter. ( Mine is internal actually)
