window film

Post by GarethC »

Anyone have any ideas of how to remove old window film from a plastic window without damaging the plastic? Have just spent an evening with hairdryer and blade, but it's taking a very long time!
thanks

You could try a heat gun, might be a bit quicker. Then you can remove the sticky residue with "sticky label remover". Make sure it's a non-solvent based one....it smells citrus-ey
