Tristar bash plate fitting gear/pictures?

Post by poshbuggers »

Would anyone have one of these fitted?

Mine is bare with no fitting gear so i don't have a clear idea how it should mount at the front crossmember/subframe.

Is anyone using the space for anything novel?

Haven't got any decent pics, but how about one of those spare-wheel LPG tanks?

if your front subframe hasn't got the hinge's already welded to it they you will have to make them; I used 2wd ones and modified them as i knew they were the right internal diameter for the top loops. You'll need to get 205 loops to to maximise the space. You could build a waterproof box to fit the space and carry spare shafts and the like, I use it for spare wheel though :ok

I think spare wheel would be ideal for me.

I plan on carrying 2 (one on the back) so one under the front would be ideal - plus it means I can lose the bullbar (which currently houses the spare).

Can you get a 215/75R15 under there?

I carry spare space in that area. You never know when you will need it!
