Hi folks,
we have one of the lovely caravanstore awnings.
We wondered how the side arms braced against the van....then we saw that other bags had a support attached to the bag that the arms slot into. None on our bag, so I have bought a pair at great expanse from Fiamma.
Now....does anyone know how i fix it to the bag? It comes with 4 fixings...but they are ike a plastic rivet...and I haven't a clue how to use them to fix it to the bag. Anyone got any ideas?
thanks
Em
xx

Re: Fiamma roll out awing - Awning in a bag
sounds strange ...
i know when i bought mine , it had the fixings in the bag for the top poles , but i also got a small bag of mountings , that mount to the bottom of the bus/caravan to mount the down poles to ( more at a 45deg to the bus )
so actually you dont have anything touching the ground.
dont know if that made sense..
really sounds like yours is wrong, have you tried to contact fiamma ?

i think they mean the ones that come back to the roof to stretch out the canvas!
mine have recess's that are like a double circle?
you should just pop a hole in the material for the rivot, push the main plasic from the back and then push the little pin into the middle so it spreads the legs of the pin
head side of the 'rivot' to the opposite side of the canvas.
the load / pressure is taked by the roof , the rivots stop the feet dropping off when not in use!
