I'm going to invest in this DVD, the results are pretty impressive. I was going to spray mine, but this is certainly worth the effort. :)

Just finished watching the DVD, impressive, and some great help, advice, and pointers. As a sprayer in a past profession, I totally agree about prep work, its the key, most important thing to any paint job, if you can feel any imperfection with your fingers, trust me you will see it, so best taking your time on the prepping, and then you will save yourself a lot of time in the longrun.

I remember that one going out as shop PM'd me. Glad you got it fella. Mind you, when I think of Finland I always think of Michael Caine in Six Million Dollar Brain. Is it warm enough to roller otherwise you'll be frozen to your camper, roller in hand :D

Nice thing about this technique is you can give the lower parts of the body a spruce-up before winter if you really want to - bit like doing the hull on a narrowboat. Helps protect lower body panels from stone chips and any salt on the roads. Every three years seems about right for a bit of added protection.

Luckily salt is not used on our roads in winter, so thats a blessing.

Looking good. Are you intending to have a matt finish, or is that just the undercoat?
