Vanfest obstacle course for syncros?

Post by silverbullet »

I'm sure I didn't imagine this, somewhere on the VF info page.
Who's up for it and anyone got the beta on what they are planning on building?

Mr Ghia knows about it. Your van has to go through scrutineering  to prove roadworthyness. Doubt if i'll do that, will probably have it in the display on saturday, unless im to hungover to move :D

Scrutineering eh? Are they/we paying for an RAC MSA official or just a mate who's a MOT tester?
Well I suppose that they need to know that your van can be expected to stop and not mow down the onlookers. Methinks I shall saunter over on the day and have a quiet chuckle at whoever's daft enough to make a spectacle of themselves...

Now you know that's not funny...

I quite fancy having a go at a G.T. but not having done one before, it might be a bit foolish in front of a non-syncronauts audience!

I'm with Lloyd on this one. Unless peer pressure gets the better of me

I've never been before and quite looking forward to it! Ive some how managed to blag some courtesy vip weekend tickets, anyone done the vip thing before? is it just closer stage access or different camping areas etc? I didnt get any info in the Vanfest pack ive got....
