Re: immobiliser
hi folks
Thought I'd drag up this old thread as I also need a Cat 2 Thatcham approved immobiliser fitted to my 1986 T25.
Have searched through the forum and the only recommendations I can find are in this thread, and a reference to Safe & Sound Mobile in another.
ToadAlarm (recommended here) are quoting me £200 for the unit and fitting it. However, Mark from Safe & Sound says it shouldn't be costing me more than £120, more like £100. Sadly he's based in Leeds and I'm in S London, so he can't do it for me.
So my question is: does anyone know a company or person who can sell and install a Cat 2 Thatcham approved immobiliser, in South London, for around £100 (with all the proper, legit, approved documentation that I can send to my insurance company)?
Ta!
