twinslider to single

i have a 1985 twin slider which i am completly revaming top to bottom one problem i have come across is that the offside sliding door is completly rotten now what i was going to do at first was going to just replace the door but after much thought the interior covers the door so there aint a great deal of point in having it there so what i want to do is to just put a pannel in there now i have a couple of questions really

how would you go about doing it ?
where would you get a replacement side pannel from (bit short on the old pennies) ?

also is there an other ways any of you would do it ?

Probably easiest to get a side panel cut from a donor bus. Doubt the VW mainstealers will have them in stock anymore.

Heres how to replace a side panel. You just need to skip past the section on removing the old panel.

ah that is great thank you , that was what i thought was going to have to happen to be honest so now for another question , dose any one have a donner bus that i can cut the side out ? pm me or tell me in here how much you want if you could , that would be great
