creaking t25
My T25 creaks an awful lot. What causes this? C ould it be springs, shock absorbers or wishbone bushers. Where do you start?

if it sounds like its near the handbrake and you say its her side and she says its your side, itll proberbly be upper wishbone bushes

Re: creaking t25
if you get some wd40 and totally soak the upper wishbone bushes it might go away...hopefully itll go away enough for you to see/hear its them making the noise..but it will return once the wd40 has evaporated.
it is a big job but nothing too demanding..but it means tackling nuts and bolts that may have never been touched for years
heres the wiki on it https://club8090.co.uk/wiki/St ... one_bushes" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: creaking t25
don't forget you will need an angle grinder and welder to remove and fit new bushes. Also will need to reset the front camber.

Re: creaking t25
hi
Please Let me know how you go on as I have the same problem. Currently I am brushing lashings of brake fluid onto the top wishbone bushes. This has been working fine. I aquired new bushes to fit but not got the courage to have a go yet. I have loosened then re-tightened the nut, all the wd-40 and brake fluid seems to have helped that come away ok. But from my understanding the old bearings need to be ground out and the new ones tack welded, then the camber etc has to be re-aligned. So I plan to do the bulk of the work and then book him (Vince) into our local friendly garage for the camber setup.
cheers Kev
