Re: syncro westy fridge
I have the 50l one in mine and I think that's as big as you can go. The 50 just sits short of the back hitting the side of the van.

Re: syncro westy fridge
you know its not a compressor fridge don't you? It's a 3 way one, no different to what you have. Sorry if you already know that

same technology, so no real difference. Maybe looks a bit nicer. If your fridge is working, dont bother. Save up for a compressor one (about £420)

Re: syncro westy fridge
If your going to the trouble of fitting a new fridge the compressor fride is the only way to go. A gas one only keeps 20* below ambiant tempriture so if like now where I am it's 45* your stuff is still going to be hot. I popped a bottle of water in my freezer compartment this morning and it froze solid in a couple of hours. Anyone serious about travel has a compression fridge and you don't need a special fuel or extra tank to run them.
Jake and I are doing an install video on our website when I get back as we both fitted different makes of compessor fridge and are putting them head to head.

Funny but i'm quite exited about getting mine, nowhere near the size of yours, but will fit between front seats quite snuggly. Will have it for vanfest, stocked full of beers as i have no wife or kids to feed
