Was wondering if I could get some advice on how and if I could fix the Light Lever switch (one under the steering wheel) on my 1988 T25.
It does not seem to have any broken parts.
After driving for a long period of time switching the high beam on and off it just no longer stayed on, the high beam light actually works if I hold and leave the lever up.
This has caused the main lights not to work... I can only use the low beam when I switch the light switch on to low and main. High beam if I hold up the lever and hold it there, when I let go it will come off...
I have been searching for a diagram of this but cannot find 1... anyone knows where I can get hold of 1...
Thanks...

Re: Light Switch Problems
Hello,
when full beam is "clicked" on, the dipped beam will be off, and vice-versa. It sounds very much like you have an interal problem with the indicator stalk/full beam switch itself. It may be broken, or you might be able to dismantle, clean and replace it. There are electric layout diagrams in the download section here, but it sounds like the problem is that switch itself. It's easy to take off and inspect - prize off horn section, remove steering wheel, removes two screws for cowling, disconnect multiplug and then the two long thing screws that hold the indicator and wiper stalks on. It'll slide off and you should be able to check the internals.

Re: Light Switch Problems
Thanks for the reply Ewen....
did dismantle it... this small white plastic bit (small cylinder with an arched clip) fell off... I thought that was going to b the problem.
I tried to figure out where it went. After a long time tring to figure out where it could go, cause it didnt look like it fitted in many places but 1. I assembled it back together and still came out with the same problem... might be the case that it does not go there.
I have downloaded the electric diagram from here but no help this time... If anyone knows about this I would really appreciate some help...
