Hello,
Just got back from 1000 trouble free miles in the new syncro, just noticed the extra weight with the current 225/75/16 was just expecting too much from my 14" 2.1 syncro.
So I've been looking around at new tyres, can't afford the 15" wheels and a/t's so I've decided on 215/65/16 Pirelli STR
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/215-65-16-PIR ... 231251c7b5" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Seem a good price to me, great review, correct load rating, ok'ish on the odd track.
On my trip I didn't need M/T's at all and I don't really want to go green lanning, just the odd track to find a wild camping spot.
So has anyone ran with these? Expectations?
Which means I should have some bridgestone dueler M/T's 225/75/16 up for grabs, that's if don't just keep hold of them, just incase!
Anybody tried the Pirelli STR's?

Re: Anybody tried the Pirelli STR's?
Thanks Lloydy, didn't even see these. They look more aggresive than the STR's.
Might be a daft question, but does the profile take into account the tread depth?
I.e would 225/75/16 with chucky blocks be a true profile 75? Or 10mm longer? So would a M/T actually give you a higher rolling distance when compared to a standard road tyre?!
