Looks like I have found my T3 Syncro at last!!!

Post by Mickyfin »

After searching for months, I have finally found a suitable T3 Syncro which ticks all the right boxes for me :D

Its a 1992 1.9 Petrol Caravelle GL Syncro 4x4 with just 150k k/m on the clock, a very good runner, solid, and clean inside and out. Comes with full set of alloys with summer tyres, and steelies with Winter tyres.

Its located some 400km away from me but Im planning on getting the train there, then drive it back home. It's a steal too at just €1490. Excited!

Good luck with the drive back, usually a nerve wracking experience. Take some tools and some oil and water.

Will do mate. Plan on taking my trusty 150 Halfords tool kit I brought back from the UK. Hopefully seller may have some containers for water. I will buy some oil when getting petrol on way home. Whats the best oil for the 1.9l petrol engine?

Also worth a quick once over, check the belts and fluid levels. I like to get under and double check the driveshaft bolts before driving on a long trip as well, especially picking a new (old) van, it is always something simple that goes wrong!
