Hella Spot Lights (Fitting?)

Post by jamesswann »

Just bought myself a pair of Hella spot lights on eBay for my 1989 Club Joker. They were previously factory fitted on a Westy. Does anybody know how to fit them? The position of the brackets would suggest that they are fitted to the front of the bus (grille?) opposed to the bumper? Rest assured I'll be drilling nothing until I'm certain how they are fitted. I guess I could contact the eBay seller but thought I'd put you guys to the test first. Any help would be very much appreciated :D

Normally on Westies they are fitted via the angle brackets to the deform panel, the bit the bumper is bolted onto - between the thick seam and the front valance. Mine was rivetted on.

Simon does a set of proper brackets for the job:

Thanks for your help. Simon's brackets look ideal so I will undoubtedly purchase a pair and give them a go. Thanks again :D
