Hi All
This may have been covered previously, but I can't find anything about it. We are looking at getting an Fiamma F35 awning for our westy poptop and the most common size used seems to be the 2.5m variant. There is 3.3m model that is on offer at the moment but I wondered why this size doesn't seem to be used. Do the brackets have to be within a specific distance from the edge for stability. Measuring the gutter it more or less goes the full length so the edge would be about 50cm from the B pillar bracket.

Any advice or comments welcome.

Re: 3.3 meter awning
Hi Si,
Pretty sure Tony (Alphieboy) has on of these fitted. The disadvantage would be rolling it up by yourself. Even with the 2.5m you feel 'The Burn' as you get to the top doing by yourself.
I find the shorter version doesn't stop driving rain coming in at the B piller where as the longer one would.
