NEw shocks what do you guys think of these?

Post by jebiga41 »

Shock Absorbers with PUR-bumper
PUR means Polyurethane. This material contains and additional capsule with a PUR "spring" on this specific shock absorber. This capsule carries up to 200kg and can be compressed by 70% and extends fully afterwards. It acts as an additional spring and end-bumper. No exchange of springs is needed ! When additional payload is installed just replace the ol shocks with trail master stage II - PUR shocks. Ready.
(Technical information: Use the PUR shocks only with additional payload).

Those look like Iltis Auxilliary springs.
We're just getting set up with Trialmsater at the moment.

Nothing new about this type of thing. Just like a bump stop but with a different rate Poly material and is used on many types of vehicles over the years. I spent many hours testing and rating systems like these on the estate versions of cars made by a certain manufacturer in the Midlands that isnt there anymore. Just make sure your shock mounts are up to the challenge of becoming a load bearing mount.
