I had a look but couldnt find the thread about ferry prices being high this year. I was started around boxing day by one of the early bird people who like to do the reservation to have something to aim for I guess and it was about the ferry prices being about the £160 mark. At the time I did have a look myself and it was true and thought it was a sign of the times, with the high fuel prices etc...
Anyway, last night I booked the ferry for our 4 week European tour starting next Thursday and I got the ferry for £62 return inc everything (pay with paypal and you dont get hit with the £4.50 visa charge

) It gave you a variation in price that went with the unsociable times if you wanted to save even more money, but back in December it was simply £160 return for all of them I think.
It was booked through the Norfolk line website (it directs you to another company) but goes to show that the tables have turned and you now pay a premium for early booking. Good for us because I have an extra £100 to spend on drinks
