Is there water in the tank? Is the pump submerged? If the pump in running and its inlet is under water there should be water pumping out somewhere

Well thing is tanks have been removed before I bought it. The pump is under the seat, tried putting water hose in Poratble water tank to try. Would there have been a pump in the originals tanks too?

I think photos might be needed as I've no idea what you are talking about? Normally the pump is a 12v submersible unit shaped like a toilet roll tube. The bottom has a mesh over it and this is where the water is sucked in. The top has two wires going into it and a spigot for the water pipe to push on to. This is where the water comes out. If this is the pump you've got under your seat and it "buzzes" when you push the floor switch. All you need to do is put it in a bucket and make sure the end of the water pipe is attached to the tap.

Re: My heater is stuck on hot! help
Prime the pump......suck the pipe till you get water then turn the pump on.
If your heater is stuck on then you need to get under the van remove the spare wheel and locate the heater valve if the control lever does not move the valve lever then it's either snapped the cable or it's come off
you can turn the valve off to stop the heat until you fix it

Re: My heater is stuck on hot! help
I am also having this problem
the pump sounds like it is working but no water is coming out. I've checked the pump is submerged in water but still no love.
I will try sucking the pipe and let you know how i'm getting on.....

works for me

Must get underneath & have a look soon. However, if I can just leave it another couple of months, it's not an issue until next "summer"
